Vermont High Point
Jeff Campbell and Dan Morrison on top of Mt. Mansfield, VT, elevation 4,393 feet, on July 29, 1995. This was a shockingly hard climb for a couple of out-of-shape dudes. I'm standing on the right, in the dark, sweat-stained shirt. We ascended this peak the same day the Highpointers Club was attacking it. Folks twice our age were racing past us, making us feel rather silly.
