GUARD ALARM ADJUSTMENTS
TOOLS
NEEDED
- No tools required for hard top 900s or 9000. Access ECU by lifting rear seat bottom.
- 30 torx driver for Convertibles to remove 4 screws holding the rear seat bottom in to access ECU.
- Small flat screwdriver for removing rubber plug in ECU and adjusting switches and potentiometer
PROCEDURE
Remove the rubber plug from the ECU, you can access 6 micro switches and a potentiometer. Toggle the micro switches between on (up) and off (down).

20 sec entry time to enter and turn key on to deactivate alarm

Potentiometer tunes sensitivity . Clockwise makes it more sensitive, counter clockwise, less. Only has 270 degree range of motion and will easy break if exceeded. The potentiometer is the wheel you see inside the ECU beside the switches.

When tripped, alarm sounds for 1 min and stops, automatically rearming if disturbance is gone. If still present, alarm will sound until turned off with key.

After last door shut and interior light goes off, a 40 sec entry time is allowed before alarm will arm. If switch 1 is off, alarm will chirp once to signal start of this cycle.

10 sec entry time same as above except for time and also will chirp once when door is opened after alarm has been set off while owner was away.
