Rascal o' the Year

By secret ballot, each Lair elects a "Rascal o' the Year" at its annual Ball. The coveted award recognizes the Rascal who best exemplified the virtues of Rascaldom in the preceding year.  The Lair No. 1 Rascal o' the Year trophy, known as "Our Lady of the Interesting Thing", was created by Dan Morrison out of junk found at a Salvation Army thrift store.  It has been awarded annually since 1995.  The Lair No. 3 Rascal o' the Year trophy, known as "The Ark of the Humidor", was created by Michael Moscherosch. It has been awarded annually since 2002.  Tradition stipulates that the Rascal o' the Year trophy must be prominently displayed in the home of the winner.
