First Quarter 2007 Meeting -- Lair No. 3

The Lair No. 3 Mass Challenge for 2007 was to prepare an unusual dish or drink for consumption by the assembled lair. On February 2, 2007, a total of nine entries were contemplated at the Vereinigung Erzgebirge.

Terry Alyanakian grossed out everyone with chicken feet. Eddie Barnett, served up a kitty litter cassarole and alcohol. Jim Barr, Karl Halter, Ray Hull had strange Japanese delicacies and kava. Peter Marino, presented Michael Moscherosch served up a cow's tongue and brain soup. Dan Mundy offered wild goose breast with Vermont cheese on a hot pepper. Allan Surdyke won the competition with frog legs and kangaroo meat, served up on a bed of carmelized onions.

Winner of the J.Z.Landgraf prize was Allan Surdyke. The runner-up, taking the Last Cigar Tray, was Dan Mundy.
