Third Quarter 2002 Meeting -- Lair No. 3
On September 7, 2002, Lair No. 3 of the RR&R met at the Doylestown Moose Home to hear Dan Krewson's response to his Rascal's Challenge. His challenge came over the internet when a collector of military dog tags in Missouri found a pair of WWI era tags bearing the name of Albert R. Haldeman. One of these tags bore the impression of the Doylestown Moose Home, and so he sent an appeal for information to Dan Morrison who once ran a small website dedicated to the Moose Home. Rev. Krewson did a wonderful job of learning about this man, who owned a plumbing business on South Main Street. He was able to track down and interview several living relatives of Mr. Haldeman.
