Lair No. 3 met on Saturday, June 14, 2003, for its annual research updates.
Michael Moscherosch kicked off the evening with an examination of the snapping turtle trade, giving full particulars regarding fishing regulations and methods.
Karl Halter reminisced about his glory days as a professional soccer referee and shared a number of interesting mementos from the days of NASL.
Jim Barr and Tim Tracy gave a tag-team presentation on single malt Scotch whiskey, which including a sampling of some of the barristers' favorite brands.
Allen Surdyke gave a fascinating meditation on Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon that was capped by a unison singing of Mark Knopfler's "Sailing to Philadelphia."

Dan Mundy gave a presentation on one of his long-standing areas of interest -- the original settlement at Jamestown, Virginia.
Dan Morrison gave the final presentation on Samuel Miller, a long-dead Presbyterian theologian, whose house is now the home of the Nassau Club.
